“DO NOT FEAR IF THE FORM DISAPPEARS:
ITS ROOT IS ETERNAL.”

Rumi, Persian Poet 13th century

Savorgnano del Torre.

Consisting of around eight hectares of vineyards and four of woods, our lands are located in the westernmost and coolest part of the Colli Orientali del Friuli area, in Savorgnano del Torre, between 175 and 300 metres above sea level.

A strong bond with the territory

Our farming practices are able to regenerate the land, stimulate plants and produce fruits with a strong bond with the territory. Avoiding invasive oenological interventions, we do not waste this heritage in the cellar.

The terroir of the Friulian hills

Producing territorial wines for us means cultivating and preserving the ponca vineyards. Wines from the ponca are strongly characterized by the geology of the place. Ponca or Flysch, as geologists call it, is the name of the rock complex that lies at the base of the geology of the Friulian hills:  alternating marl and sandstone of Eocene origin.

Our origins

It was the first wine produced by the company. Our area, and especially Savorgnano del Torre, has always been suited to producing raisin wines, in particular Picolit; the tradition says that it was already cultivated in Roman times, but the first historical documentation dates back to 1682.

The history of the vintages

No two vintages are ever the same; this is because each vintage has its own season with a different climatic trend that conditions the entire production cycle. Wine is a living thing, one that comes into being every year with its own personality, structure, and evolution.
